France captain Kylian Mbappé is seeking 263 million euros, which is about FJD $697 million, from Paris St-Germain, with his former club demanding 240 million euros from the player as their long-running dispute reached a Paris labour court.
The 26-year-old Real Madrid forward is claiming the amount as unpaid wages and damages in response to a contract dispute and alleged ill-treatment by the club.
PSG, however, are countersuing Mbappé, seeking compensation that matches the figure they say they lost when his 300 million-euro transfer to Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal collapsed in 2023.
Mbappé later joined Spanish giants Real Madrid on a free transfer the following summer.
The tribunal is not expected to issue a decision for several weeks.
