After losing some leaders in the team recently, Swire Shipping Fijian Drua coach Glenn Jackson says he is happy to have Temo Mayanavanua, Manasa Mataele and Issak Fines-Leleiwasa on the team as they bring in that leadership quality.
Jackson highlighted this to the media from the Drua Base in Nadi, saying Mayanavanua has played in Gallagher PREM Rugby and the experience he brings with him is massive.
He says Mayanavanua is currently away with the FIJI Water Flying Fijians but he is massively invested and excited to be playing with the Drua.
When asked on the development players that have broken into the main squad, Jackson says there's not too many clubs that would bring in as many development players as they have over the four years, and to have four this year is exciting for them and their family and what they've done in this club.
Jackson says 19 of their players were playing in the Skipper Cup Competition at one time.
He says they have also brought in 16 players over from the Skipper Cup for trial or Drua development.
The Drua are currently in their first week of pre-season training at their base in Nadi.
