36-year-old Alipate Matadigo who is facing charges relating to the alleged importation of 4.7 kilograms of methamphetamine in September this year, will find out on Monday if his bail application is approved by Magistrate Charles Ratakele.
It is believed that he is linked to the two Police officers that are currently facing charges of unlawful possession of illicit drugs, unlawful importation, and possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime.
It is alleged that Matadigo was the driver of the vehicle at the time of the incident.
He is charged with one count of unlawful transportation of illicit drugs.
