Marist dominates first round of field events

Marist Brothers High School dominated the first round of field events at the Suva Zone II this morning.

Alexander Leger won gold in the Sub-Junior Boys Long Jump with a jump of 4.9 metres.

Christian Taukei won gold in the Intermediate Boys Shot Put with a throw of 12.50 metres.

Ryan Moko won gold in the Sub-Junior Boys Javelin with a throw of 33.30 metres.

Marist Brothers High School lead the medal tally in the boy's division with 5 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze while Suva Grammar School is in second place with 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.

Lomary Secondary School is third with 2 silver medals.

In the girl's division, Lomary Secondary School leads with 4 gold, I silver and 1 bronze while Suva Grammar School is second with 2 gold and 2 bronze.

Saint Joseph's Secondary School is now in third place with 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze.
