Police are investigating a case where a bus carrying students, parents and guardians of Marist Brothers High School was stoned on Saturday night whilst returning from Nadi.

Some people were badly injured during the stoning incident.

Chief Operations Officer ACP Abdul Khan says Police had received information of the alleged incident at Kalokolevu and officers residing at the Lami Police Barracks were deployed to the scene.

The officers managed to gather information regarding the involvement of two youths aged 15 and 17 years, who were brought to the Lami Police Station for questioning.

ACP Khan said the two were released as investigations continue.

When contacted by Legend FM News, the Marist Principal said they will not make any comments as the matter is with the Police.
