Marist and Saint Joseph's win swimming titles

Marist Brothers High School and Saint Joseph's Secondary School are the winners of the 2024 National Schools Swimming Age Group Championship.

Marist won the secondary schools boys division after getting 26 gold, 15 silver and 8 bronze at the newly renovated Damodar Aquatic Centre.

Sri Vivekananda College came in second place in the boys division with 18 gold,17 silver and 6 bronze, Drasa Avenue from the west came in third with 7 gold, 6 silver and 3 bronze.

The girls from Waimanu Road, Saint Joseph's Secondary School won the girls division after getting 28 gold, 8 silver and 6 bronze.

Western based Drasa Avenue came in second place with 10 gold, 8 silver and 4 bronze medals.

Holy Trinity Anglican School came in third place with 8 gold,1 silver and 1 bronze.

The upgraded centre provided an unforgettable experience for both the swimmers and spectators alike.
