Marist 7s: Fiji Barbarians beat New Zealand 17-10 in final pool game

Fiji Barbarians put on a gutsy performance in their final pool game to beat All Blacks 7s 17-10 in the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.

Waisea Nacuqu played a key role in the win setting up the first try for Iowane Teba, then getting a try for himself at the stroke of half time.

Panapasa Qeruqeru got the third try for the Barbarians after winning the ball at the break-down on New Zealand’s try-line.

The win puts Fiji Barbarians as top seed in the main eliminations today.

Winners from the main eliminations will progress into the cup quarter finals.

The main eliminations will start at 11:15am tomorrow.

The cup quarter finals will start at 2:50pm tomorrow with the cup semi finals kicking off at 5:30pm tomorrow, while the cup final will be played at 7:40pm tomorrow.
