Clayton McMillan has named a star studded Maori All Blacks side with 10 debutants but one that is also filled with a lot of experience.

Isaia Walker-Leawere son of former Flying Fijian Kele Leawere, has been named at Lock where he will pair with Josh Dickson of the Highlanders.

McMillan has named experienced halves Brad Weber and TJ Perenara as co-captains. Weber will start and Perenara will inject much needed firepower from the bench.

The midfield has Josh Ioane at 10 and the pairing of Rameka Poihipi and Billy Proctor at 12 and 13.

The back three are made up of Conor Garden-Bachop at 11, Shaun Stevenson at 14 and Zarn Sullivan at 15.

This will also be the first time that brothers Zarn Sullivan and Bailyn Sullivan are named in the same team.

The last time the Maori All Blacks took on Ireland was in 2010. Maori All Blacks won that match 31-28.

The Maori All Blacks will take on Ireland on Wednesday at 7.05 pm in Hamilton.
