The man whose body was found floating in the Rewa River last Friday was from Nausori Village and he was missing from home since the 1st of this month.
He had a t-shirt wrapped around his head while his right hand was clenching onto a glue can when his body was discovered in the river.
Police say the body did not have any visible injuries.
The post mortem will be conducted soon to ascertain cause of death.
