The 27-year-old man who allegedly raped and sexually assaulted a 17-year-old boy in a cemetery compound in the Nausori area in July this year will take his plea in the Suva High Court on Monday.
Vecueli Rara is charged with a count each of rape and sexual assault.
According to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, the 17 year old boy had taken a shortcut route to walk to school when he was allegedly grabbed and sexually assaulted by the 27-year-old man.
The man was allegedly drinking alcohol in the cemetery.
