Emergency responders have managed to retrieve the body of the 28-year-old man who was trapped inside a digger, buried under a pile of rocks in Navua this afternoon.
Police say the victim has been identified as a mechanic of Nakaulevu in Navua.
They say the man had gone to the site to conduct repairs on the digger and was conducting a test drive when the tragic incident occurred.
The incident occurred in Calia Back Road, Navua.
