A 26 year old man who allegedly stabbed his defacto partner several times on Saturday in Nadi has been remanded in custody.
The man faces one count each of act with intent to cause grievous harm and breach of domestic violence restraining order.
Police had earlier said the man allegedly forcefully entered the woman’s home , breaching a standing Domestic Violence Restraining Order.
He allegedly stabbed his defacto partner several times over a dispute the two had about the woman socializing with her friends.
The case has been adjourned till the 8th of next month and will be called in the Lautoka High Court.
