A 24-year-old man will appear in the Navua Magistrates Court today for his alleged involvement in an accident in Navua last year where two women lost their lives.
The two women were passengers in separate vehicles that were involved in a head-on collision near Naimelimeli on 10th November last year.
According to Police, the man was driving the vehicle that allegedly overtook a number of vehicles and hit an oncoming vehicle resulting in the unfortunate accident.
The man is charged with six counts of dangerous driving causing grievous harm and 2 counts of dangerous driving occasioning death.
