A man in his 60s lost his life following an unfortunate accident last night in Lautoka.
Police say the man was driving along Paipai Road when he allegedly lost control of his vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and land in a creek.
They say the man and a passenger in his 70s, were rushed to the Lautoka Hospital where he was unfortunately pronounced dead.
Police say the passenger remains admitted.
Investigations continue.
They add the national road death toll currently stands at 9 compared to 17 for the same period last year.
