Man electrocuted while wife in critical condition

A woman remains admitted in critical condition at the CWM Hospital following an unfortunate accident which claimed the life of her 50-year old husband.

Police say the husband was welding an iron rod to extend their antenna with his wife when it accidentally tipped a live wire resulting in the two getting electrocuted and sustaining burns.

The incident happened on Thursday in Nailega Village, Tailevu.
