A 38-year-old man charged with three counts of rape and two counts of sexual assault will have his trial heard before Judge Justice Thushara Rajasinghe today.
The man is alleged to have raped and sexually assaulted his 12-year-old step-daughter between 17th March last year and 13th April last year.
The alleged incident took place in Gau Island.
