A man who, along with a woman, allegedly assaulted his partner to death will appear in the Nausori Magistrates Court today.
Police say the woman, who was in her 30s, was brought to the Nausori Health Centre on Saturday with visible injuries by her partner.
Medical officials pronounced her death whereby an investigation was conducted.
Police say initial information gathered was that the woman was picked up by her partner on Friday night from Nausori Town.
They say further investigation revealed that her partner and a woman in her 30s allegedly assaulted the woman, causing serious injuries resulting in her death.
The two have been jointly charged with one count of murder.
