Local rugby league players and officials are beginning to weigh in on the recent announcement by the Fiji National Rugby League regarding the Kaiviti Silktails.

FNRL Chairman Viliame Naupoto had earlier announced the the Silktails are no longer part of the FNRL adding that the Silktails have unilaterally pulled out of the Memorandum of Understanding they had signed to allow them to operate as an affiliate club for FNRL.

Makoi Bulldogs Head Coach Maika Vunivere says their loyalty will be with the Fiji National Rugby League at all times.

FNRL says there are still talks in setting everything straight with the Silktails and the Makoi Bulldogs maintains that they will await and standby the decision made by the FNRL board.
