More than 330 families from Wainadoi to Nadi who have been affected by the recent outbreak of COVID-19 have been assisted with food packs by Make a Difference-Fiji in the last three weeks.

Director Renu Singh says they have been receiving hundreds of requests from families around the country on a daily basis.

Singh says these people cannot go to work due to the containment zones and have been unemployed for around three weeks now.

She says majority of them have been affected by the second wave of the outbreak and have reached out to them through their social media platforms.

Singh adds they are also getting requests from people in other containment zones and they are referring these families to other organizations in the area.

She is urging people to come forward and assist them so they can continue helping people who are struggling.

If you want to assist Make a Difference-Fiji in helping these families then you can contact Renu Singh on 9912379.
