Major tussle expected in 100mtrs senior boys final

A major tussle is expected in the senior boys 100 metres final after Queen Victoria School sprinter, Senirusi Rauqe clocked the fastest time in his heat with a time of 10.74 seconds while last year’s winner, Suva Grammar School sprinter, Semisi Caginivalu clocked the fastest time in his heat when he stopped the clock at 10.84 seconds.

However Grammar’s Aisake Manna is also pushing hard as he had the second fastest time at 10.80 seconds.

Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School’s, Ratu Penaia Ramasirai clocked 11.06 seconds, Josevani Ramaraca finished with a time of 11.19 seconds in his heat, Marist’s Ravuama Latilevu is through to the final after clocking 11.06 seconds and Isimeli Tuvusa won his heat with a time of 11.31 seconds.

Inoke Bera from Labasa College is also in the final after clocking a time of 11.47 seconds.

The 100 metres finals will start at 3.55pm today.
