The Tailevu Provincial Youth Council has received a major boost from three key sponsors, Aurora, Kai Tai, and BLK Sports, ahead of the highly anticipated Siga Kei Luvei Tailevu in August. Tailevu Provincial Youth Council President, Jeremaia Q. Merekula says this agreement was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Council and its sponsors this week, marking a significant step in supporting youth development across the province.

Merekula highlights the Council’s broad reach, noting that it serves 141 villages and 22 settlements across Tailevu.

BLK Sports Fiji Nausori Manager Malakai Yamaivava says a special fundraising initiative in support of the youth will be carried out.

He says for every Siga Kei Luvei Tailevu merchandise item purchased from BLK, 10 percent of the sale will go directly to the Youth Council and it is a way of giving back to the Vanua and encouraging unity among the young people of Tailevu.

Eleni Luvenitoga, the founder of the home-based family business Kai Tai, says her pride in contributing to the cause is a big opportunity for her to give back, and support Tailevu youth. The Tailevu Provincial Youth Council is also gearing up for a special Prayer Breakfast with Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamikamica this Saturday at Epworth Hall in Suva, setting the tone for the upcoming celebrations.

The celebration is scheduled for August 28th to 30th in the Nausori Primary School.
