Maika Sivo signs 2-year deal with Eels

Star Parramatta winger Maika Sivo has signed a new two-year deal that will keep him at the club through to the end of 2023.

Sivo has scored 39 tries in 49 games since making his NRL debut in 2019.

Fox League reports that Sivo had rejected a big offer from European rugby union clubs to sign a deal worth in excess of $FJ630,000 per season.

The Eels will take on the Sharks at 8.35pm Saturday.

In other matches this week, the Panthers will face the Storm at 9.05pm Thursday, the Dragons will play Sea Eagles at 7pm Friday and the Rabbitohs will take Roosters at 9.05pm Friday.
