MGM wins Southern Zone U18 Raluve final

MGM wins Southern Zone U18 Raluve final

Everybody says we have nothing to prove, but we have made a difference today.

This was highlighted by MGM U18 captain Carletta Yee after they edged Naitasiri Secondary School 18-17 to win the Southern Zone Raluve U18 final at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Yee says the team, the teachers and parents have sacrificed a lot and through those challenges they face, they have reaped what they sow.

She says they will take a step further in the National quarter finals, and prove that they are not participating to add numbers to the competition, but also to prove what they are worth.

The Marist U17 side will face MGM in the final at 1.40pm while the Marist U19 team will take on Lomary.

The U18 elimination between Nasinu and Sacred Heart College will be held at 1.40pm, and the winner will also go through to the national quarterfinals.

In other results, Grammar won against Marist 15-12 in the U14 final, and Marist defeated Grammar 17-5 in the U15 final.

Lomary Secondary School lost to Naitasiri Secondary 20-0 in the Raluve U16 final.

In the playoff results, Nasinu U14 defeated CMF 10-3, Nasinu U15 beat Gospel 17-0, Nasinu defeated Dudley U16 17-10 and the Grammar U17 beat Nasinu 17-10.

All finals will be held at the HFC Bank Stadium and all the elimination rounds will be held at the Buckhurst ground.

The Eastern Zone Dean's final admission is $10 for the Grandstand, $7 for the Concrete stand and $5 for the Embankment.
