The Marist Brothers High School under 18 rugby team remains unbeaten in New Zealand, defeating Wesley College in their first game 35-0.

In other matches, the Marist thrashed Sacred Heart College 40-0 and defeated Hamilton Boys 35-12.

According to School Principal Asish Dayal, the students and management are in good spirits and he thanked the parents, guardians and old boys for supporting the students in New Zealand.

The Marist team is coached by former Fijiana 7s coach Saiyasi Fuli.

Dayal says the Marist Old Boys Hamilton hosted a post-match dinner yesterday at Fraser Tech Rugby House and took the students on a tour around the Rugby house.

The Marist began their campaign this season with a warm-up match with Ratu Kadavulevu School, the same team they played in the Vodafone Super Deans final in the under-17 grade last year.
