Marist Brothers High School Head Boy Setoki Waqaliva has dedicated his achievement to the people of Nawaka, Nadi.

Waqaliva who is boarding at the school says his parents came from Nadi for this special day and words cannot express how proud they are of him.

He says the achievement is not just for him and his family but for the whole village as the villagers have always taught him to overcome every challenge.

Waqaliva says he is blessed to come from a family who has not been affected by COVID-19 but he has relatives and friends in the village who have been severely affected.

He adds we should always help each other in these trying times.

Michael Eli and Alipate Rarawa are Year 13 Deputy Head Boys while Nathan Hong and Steven Gauna are Year 12 Deputy Head Boys.
