Lyon send City crashing out of the Champions League

Manchester City have crashed out of the UEFA Champions League after being beaten 3-1 by French side Lyon this morning.

Maxwel Cornet gave Lyon the lead n the 24th minute as they lead at the break but Kevin De Bruyne equalized for City in the 69th minute.

City looked all set to find the winner until Moussa Dembele came off the bench to score twice and seal the win.

Manchester City had the chance to equalize late in the match but winger Raheem Sterling somehow managed to miss an open goal from 5 yards out.
