An exciting moment for Ulaiasi Uto, who traveled from Bua two days ago to witness the Round 1 match of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific between the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua and the Brumbies this afternoon.

While speaking to fijivillage News, the 62-year-old from Matainoco Village in Tailevu says he has been supporting the Drua since their first match and is excited to be back again today.

He says his Drua jersey, which he has had since 2022 when the team first began, remains a symbol of his unwavering support, and he will continue wearing it to show his loyalty.

Uto believes the Drua will secure a victory under the leadership of captain Tevita Ikanivere, backed by the passionate support of local fans.

He adds that he is looking forward to seeing Joseva Tamani showcase his talent and has pledged his full support to all the Drua players taking the field this afternoon.

Also, Naomi from Nadi says she is expecting a good showdown this afternoon and will be supporting their best player, Kitione Salawa and the Drua players today.

She is urging all rugby fans to come in numbers to support the Drua team as they defend their home ground.

The Drua will host the Brumbies at HFC Bank Stadium at 3.35 pm today.
