Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Captain, Jerry Tuwai says love within the team will be the key to success in the Olympics.

Speaking after their victory over the Oceania 7s team last night, Tuwai says it has been a while for the team to play in an international tournament and players enjoyed the occasion yesterday.

He says the players have faith in each other which is one thing that keeps them moving forward.

The Fiji Men’s 7s team beat Australia 26-14 in the first game and defeated the Oceania 7s team 32-12. In another match last night, New Zealand edged Australia 24-21.

Fiji will now face New Zealand at 4.22pm today and Australia at 9.30 tonight.

Fiji will play two matches tomorrow.

They take on the Oceania 7s team at 2.30pm and New Zealand at 8.07pm.

There are six rounds of matches in the Oceania 7s where each team will play each other twice.

The highest-ranked team after six matches will be declared the winner.
