The World is celebrating the inauguration of the Ram Mandir by lighting diya’s as Lord Rama's life had many difficulties but he always guided us to follow the path of righteousness no matter what difficulty may arise.

Assistant Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection, Sashi Kiran, highlighted this last night during the Ram Lalla celebration at the Rishikul Sanatan College.

Kiran requested that if we are remembering Lord Rama, then we must live our lives the way he lived.

She says there are many things we can utilise in our daily lives through his teachings, and that is why spiritual teachings for our children are vital as it helps them in making the right decision.

The Assistant Minister says Lord Rama had served his parents however, now, 90 percent of the elderly in the old age homes are from our community.

She further says the true meaning of Ram Raj is when every household is peaceful and happy.

Kiran adds it is important to engage our children towards spiritual teachings as many youths say that they do not know most things that take place during a traditional ceremony.
