Loganimasi scores hat trick as Fiji beats Spain 31-12

Ponipate Loganimasi scored a hat trick to help the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side cruise past Spain 31-12 in their first pool game in the Vancouver SVNS Tournament.

Fiji started off slowly after a shaky kickoff with players like Joseva Talacolo stepping up to the plate.

Fiji skipper Napolioni Bolaca showed glimpses of brilliance as he set up a couple of tries for the Fiji side.

Pilipo Bukayaro also got his name on the score sheets with Fiji leading 19-7 at half time.

Terio Tamani took advantage of a Spain yellow card and strolled through to score under the sticks.

The men’s cup quarter finals will kick off at 2.22pm tomorrow, the cup semi finals will kick off at 8.43am Monday and the cup final will be at 1.23pm Monday.
