After a successful stint in the 7s arena, Fiji Water Flying Fijians winger Ponipate Loganimasi has been named in the World Rugby Men’s Sevens Dream Team of the Year.

Loganimasi was part of the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side for the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 HSBC 7s Series seasons and was also part of the Fiji Men’s 7s side that scooped silver at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

He later joined the Flying Fijians in September this year where he made his 15s debut against Samoa in the final of the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup.

Loganimasi has been named alongside South Africa’s Selvyn Davids, Antoine Dupont and Aaron Grandidier Nkanang of France, Terry Kennedy of Ireland, Nathan Lawson of Australia, and Matías Osadczuk of Argentina.

The 26-year-old’s impressive form in the 7s arena earned him a spot in the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua squad for the 2025 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.
