Liverpool maintain perfect record with 2-1 win over Everton

Liverpool have made it five wins from five as their flawless start to their defence of the Premier League crown continued with a 2-1 victory in the Merseyside derby against Everton at Anfield.

Ryan Gravenberch and Hugo Ekitike scored for Liverpool, while Idrissa Gueye netted for Everton.



Liverpool currently lead the table with 15 points after a series of outstanding performances.



In other matches, Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton played out a 2-2 draw, Crystal Palace secured a 2-1 win over West Ham United, Nottingham Forest and Burnley drew 1-1, Leeds United beat Wolverhampton 3-1 and Manchester United claimed a 2-1 victory over Chelsea.
