Concerns have been raised by residents of Sakoca in Tacirua who say they have had little to no water for the last 4 days.

Resident Ajay Verma spoke to fijivillage News and says water carting trucks had come by but only stopped to fill a bucket or two but that is not enough to cater to their needs.

Verma adds the water trucks also sometimes come at odd hours when nobody is home to fill water.

He also says they have elderly people and children to take care of and it is hard to do this with no water in the taps.

Water Authority of Fiji says that their reservoirs did not recover enough water last night which is why there is hardly any water in elevated areas.

When asked on when water supply will normalise WAF says they are not too sure at the moment.
