Residents of Lovu settlement in Lautoka are pleading to the government to hear their plea as they have been without water supply from last Monday.

Resident Shavinesh Prasad says there are 7 members in his family including a baby and there is little to no water supply everyday.

He adds it has affected their daily life.

Prasad says there is no water carting provided as well and whenever they contact the Water Authority of Fiji they are told that arrangements are being made but nothing is done.

The 30-year-old says they store water when water is provided after midnight, however, the pressure is very low.

Prasad also stresses that this is a continuous issue.

We have sent questions to the Water Authority of Fiji. They are yet to respond.
