Peoples Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are ideals that smaller countries like Fiji should live for and we would all be richer if we set these virtues as our moral compass going forward.

Peoples Alliance Leader Sitiveni Rabuka shared these sentiments while congratulating the United States on its 246th anniversary.

Rabuka says this is a timely reminder as the People’s Alliance along with other political parties in the country gets ready to contest the upcoming general elections.

He says like the vibrant nation it is, the United States is by no means a perfect democracy and it has never claimed to be so but for pursuing the ideals that everyone are created equal and endowed with the inalienable rights, the People’s Alliance believes Fiji and the global family would be a far better place if we all commit to pursuing such principles.
