With heartfelt words that moved the crowd to applause, Miss Unique Sounds, Entertainment and Events Lebaiwasa Wakawaka stepped forward as the newly crowned Miss Sugar 2025, dedicating her victory to her family, faith, and the community that carried her to the stage.

Wakawaka captured the title at the Vodafone Sugar Festival last night, delivering a touching speech in which she paid tribute to her family and friends—including those who travelled from Nadi just to support her and the Sugar Festival Committee as well.

She also acknowledged the strong bond she formed with her fellow contestants, affectionately calling them her “beautiful queen sisters”, and reflected on their demanding two-week preparation period, which they balanced with rehearsals, exams, and long days.

As she accepted the crown, Wakawaka pledged to honour the responsibility that comes with the title.

The second runner up award went to Miss Ozone Electrical Akisi Temo, while the first runner up title was awarded to Michelle Lambert of Lei Entertainment.
