David Aidney

Leadership Fiji says they are saddened to hear of the passing of David Aidney and pay tribute to a good friend, mentor and inspiring leader to many amongst their alumni, board, partner organisations, business community and the various communities that he served and supported.

They say Aidney was instrumental in the launch and startup of Leadership Fiji and through Williams and Gosling where he was owner and Managing Director, came on board as one of their founding sponsors in 2001 and remained so for the last 20 years.

It further adds they remember Aidney for his forthright comments as a speaker at their Leadership Fiji sessions and events where he would always challenge their participants and alumni to do more by serving and giving back to our communities and country.

Leadership Fiji Board Chairperson William Parkinson in his condolence message to the Aidney family says Dave’s ongoing support over the last 20 years to Leadership Fiji has been an inspiration to them all.

Parkinson further says above all Aidney’s passion for Fiji and his determination to find a better way to lead our nation continues to motivate them.

Parkinson says Aidney will be missed by many.
