Olympic gold medallist LeBron James will be the male flagbearer for Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The NBA's all-time leading scorer will become the first male basketball player to carry the Stars and Stripes at an Opening Ceremony during the parade of athletes this Saturday.
James has been named in the US Basketball Team with the likes of Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Anthony Edwards, Jayson Tatum, and Derrick White.
Team USA are the defending Olympics gold medal champions in the men’s division.
The Olympic Games kick off this Thursday with the men’s football and men’s rugby 7s competition.
