Vendors from the Lautoka Main Market, Bus Stand Market and Flea Market were given an opportunity by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Professor Biman Prasad to raise their concerns.

Professor Prasad took time to thank farmers from the interior, who travel early in the morning to sell their produce, acknowledging their hard work and simple needs.

He says they are committed to support small and medium enterprises and they are ready to listen and understand the challenges they face.

Professor Prasad adds that the government continues to focus on strengthening the SME sector across Fiji.

We have also sent questions to Prof Prasad on the issues raised by the market vendors.
