Defending champion, Lautoka, made a perfect start to their Digicel Fiji Premier League 2024 season campaign after defeating Nasinu 4-2 at Uprising Sports Complex.
Lautoka led 3-1 at halftime.
Usman Omede scored a double for Lautoka with Sairusi Nalaubu and Epeli Leiroti scoring a goal each.
Ratu Anare scored both goals for Nasinu.
In other round 1 matches today, Ba defeated Suva 5-2, Nadi beat Tailevu/Naitasiri 3-1 while Navua edged Nadroga 2-1.
