Lautoka Rugby will be aiming to record their first win in the Skipper Cup competition when they take on Yasawa Rugby tomorrow.

Lautoka Rugby Union Administrator Joseph Sikuri says even though they have lost their first two matches against Tailevu and Naitasiri, they are focusing on finishing as one of the top four teams.

Sikuri says Yasawa is not a new team for them even though Yasawa is playing in the Skipper Cup for the first time.

Lautoka and Yasawa are the two teams that qualified from the Vodafone Vanua Shield Championship and they are currently winless in this year’s Skipper Cup competition. Lautoka will take on Yasawa at 5pm tomorrow at Prince Charles Park.

The Skipper Cup and Farebrother Sullivan Trophy Challenge between Namosi and Naitasiri will be held at Thompson Park at 3.30pm this Saturday.

In other matches, Nadi will play Suva at 3pm at Prince Charles Park this Saturday while Tailevu will take on Nadroga at 3pm at Ratu Cakobau Park this Saturday.
