Former Suva lawyer Shazran Abdul Lateef

Former Suva lawyer Shazran Abdul Lateef has told the Suva Magistrates Court that he is a user adding there is no place in Fiji that can cater to people like him.

Lateef also pleaded not guilty to 2 counts of unlawful possession of illicit drugs and one count of re-offending while on bail.

Lateef further told the Suva Magistrates Court that for a simple possession charge people should be sent to rehab and not to remand. He added he has family over from overseas who are willing to help him get into rehab overseas.
