Lami Kava launches Fijian Drua Kava pack

Kava and rugby are the two things that naturally go together in Fiji and the Pacific, connecting friends, families, communities and the nation as a uniquely Pacific family.

Lami Kava Managing Director Donny Yee highlighted this during the launch of the Fijian Drua Kava pack held at their Kava factory in Veisari, Lami today.

Yee says they are excited to launch the new Drua pack in honour of their commitment to the Fijian Drua as their official kava sponsor for the next two years.

He says a portion of the sale of every new pack will go towards supporting the Fijian Drua team and in turn, supporting all local farmers.

He adds that Lami Kava is 100 percent sourced from Fijian farmers, so when people support the Fijian Drua team, they are supporting the Fijian farmers too.

The Lami Kava Managing Director says their kava farmers are important to their value chain and will continue to work with them to make sure the quality and consistency of kava supply meet international standards and demand.
