Laisiasa Tuibeqa (far right) and his family

A 19-year-old Laisiasa Tuibeqa and his family are aiming to buy a tractor by the end of this month through farming.

While speaking to fijivillage News Tuibeqa says, this will help their parents to plough their farm land in Taveuni.

He says last year their family were able to buy a truck and a four-wheel drive through farming.

Tuibeqa says living through challenges is a custom and the moments define who we are and how we can navigate ways towards success.

He says at a young age many people did not believe how they planted more than 5,000 dalo plants in a day.

He adds that they were nurtured in a good way and they were taught by his parents to learn the hard way.

Tuibeqa is also encouraging the youths to always respect their parents and follow what they say because, respect is the key that opens the door to success.
