Extra Supermarket Labasa FC has kept its hope alive for the semi-finals of the 2023 Rooster Chicken/Scoop Ice Cream Battle of the Giants Tournament after defeating Suva 2-0.

Labasa coach Mohammed Kasim says although the players have shown a good game this morning by defeating Suva 2-0 yet, they need to win against Ba in their next match to qualify for the semi final in September.

He says they had some weaknesses in terms of their mid-fields and players need to put their act together.

Ilisoni Lolaivalu and Christopher Wasasasala scored for Labasa.

In the other matches, Nadi will face Navua at 2pm while Rewa will play Ba at 4pm.
