Labasa holds Suva to a nil-all draw at home

Labasa held Suva to a nil-all draw in their Digicel Fiji Premier League match at Subrail Park this earlier afternoon.

Labasa interim coach Sanjesh Lal says he is happy with his team’s defence and says he wanted to give the youth players the opportunity to play and is out trying new combinations. Lal says he hopes for good results in their upcoming matches.

The coach says they will putting on the pressure against Nadi next week.

He adds they are focusing on their league games as they want to qualify for the OFC Champions League.

Meanwhile, the Nadroga vs Ba and Rewa vs Tailevu Naitasiri matches this weekend have been postponed due to unavailability of the ground as a result of adverse weather conditions.
