Half-back Simione Kuruvoli

Half-back Simione Kuruvoli has reclaimed the No. 9 jersey for the FIJI Water Flying Fijians and will start against Canada in the semi final of the Pacific Nations Cup on Monday.

Kuruvoli will form a crucial halves combination with departing Swire Shipping Fijian Drua fly-half Caleb Muntz.

In the front row, captain Tevita Ikanivere retains his position at hooker and will be joined by props Eroni Mawi and Mesake Doge.

The second-row partnership sees Mesake Vocevoce and Isoa Nasilasila locking in, while the back row features Etonia Waqa at blindside flanker and Elia Canakaivata on the openside.

Viliame Mata completes the loose forward trio at number eight.

In the backline, Taniela Rakuro will start on the wing, while Inia Tabuavou takes the inside centre role.

Seta Tamanivalu, who impressed last week against Samoa, moves to number 13.

Bristol Bears finisher Kalaveti Ravouvou keeps his place on the wing, with Ponipate Loganimasi named at fullback.

The reserves include Zuriel Togiatama at hooker; Haereiti Hetet and Samu Tawake as props; Temo Mayanavanua and Motikiai Murray covering the loose forwards; while Sam Wye, Kemu Valetini, and Joji Nasova provide cover for the backs.

The Flying Fijians play Canada at 12.35pm on Monday at DSG Park, in Denver, Colorado.
