Digicel Fiji Women’s soccer Coach Lisa Cole says they have a couple of key players with niggling injuries and they do not want to risk anyone because it is a long tournament.

The Kula’s will take on New Caledonia in their second match of the OFC Women’s Nations Cup tonight after being held 1-1 by Solomon Islands in the first match.

Cole says they were a bit nervous in the first game however they displayed good football at times but did not take their chances.

Fiji will take on New Caledonia at the HFC Bank Stadium at 7 tonight.

The winner of the Nations Cup will qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Play-Off Tournament which will be played in Australia and New Zealand next year.
