As the Kulas gear up for a high-stakes semi-final match against Papua New Guinea in the OFC Women’s Nations Cup, coach Angeline Chua says the team is in high spirits and fully focused on delivering a strong performance.
This match is set to reignite a fierce rivalry—PNG edged out the Kulas 2-1 in the 2022 final in Suva, and the Kulas will be looking to turn the tables this time on home soil.
Chua says they are trying to keep a calm atmosphere and not getting too excited about the game.
The coach says they are making sure they know what to do in terms of attacking, defending and transition moments.
The Kulas face PNG at 3pm tomorrow at the HFC Bank Stadium, while the second semi-final between Solomon Islands and Samoa kicks off at 7pm.
