Kulas beat PNG 4-3 to avenge their Pacific Games defeat

Digicel Fiji Kulas have avenged their Pacific Games defeat against Papua New Guinea after they beat them 4-3 in the 2024 OFC Women’s Olympic Qualifiers match in Apia, Samoa this afternoon.

Sofi Diyolowai scored the first goal in the 11th minute while Narieta Leba scored another in the 26th minute.

Koleta Likuculacula scored another goal for the Kulas just before the half time at the 43rd minute mark.

The Kulas led 4-1 at half time.

Narieta Leba scored the fourth goal for the Kulas in 2nd half through a penalty.

Keren Palapai scored a goal for PNG in the first half while PNG scored two more goals in the second half.

The Kulas will face Solomon Islands in their final pool match on Tuesday at 10am.
